Dana Miller

Dana N. Miller is an Attorney who was admitted to the Bar of the State of Colorado in 2008. Attorney Miller joined Bell & Pollock, P.C. in October 2018. Ms. Miller’s litigation practice has included plaintiff, defense, government, and administrative work, primarily in the areas of personal injury and labor and employment. She previously worked for John G. Taussig, III, in Boulder, Colorado representing individuals who had been hurt on the job, in a motor vehicle accident, or on someone’s property. She was part of teams that secured six-figure jury verdicts for two unique clients.

Attorney Miller previously served as a Victim Advocate for the Boulder County Police Department in 2011-2012. Working as a Victim Advocate gave Ms. Miller invaluable experience working with crime victims, understanding the criminal justice system, and identifying and providing resources to victims. During this time, Ms. Miller acted as a liaison between law enforcement and the justice system, for crime victims in Boulder County.

Since joining Bell & Pollock, Ms. Miller has achieved substantial settlements for her own clients and as part of teams working with partners Bell and Pollock. Her practice with Bell & Pollock focuses on clients injured in motor vehicle collisions and worker’s compensation casework. Attorney Miller is fiercely devoted to pursuing justice and is a real Champion of the People.

Originally from outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she studied law at Syracuse University in Central New York, where she focused on litigation practice and intellectual property earning a concentration in Law, Technology and Management. She was the Managing Editor of the Syracuse Science and Technology Law Reporter and participated in the Syracuse University New Technology Education Certificate (SUNTEC), for which she authored three articles for the monthly newsletter.

In her free time, Attorney Miller enjoys cooking – her specialties are roasting chicken and vegetables, getting creative with unique spices and sauces, French and Italian cuisine, and she has a rockin’ chili recipe— hiking with her Black Labrador Retriever, Omar; camping, and climbing Colorado’s majestic Fourteener mountains.  She recently became the “kahu” (Hawaiian word for “guardian” or “protector”) of a new black lab puppy, McCormac, who keeps her walking in all Colorado’s unpredictable weather conditions,  and who is keeping Omar company in his senior years.  She dabbles in amateur photography and wine-tasting and is a devoted fan of the 2018 Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles.  Ms. Miller also enjoys rooting for the Colorado Rockies, Colorado Mammoth, and Denver Outlaw lacrosse teams, as well as supporting local Colorado businesses, restaurants and the City Park/Five Points community.  She is a vocal advocate of voting rights and encourages strong political participation in every election.
