Sun, rain, or snow this is a great place for kids to learn, explore and burn off some extra energy. This place is great for kids 2-7 years old, but all kids are welcome. They recently (2015) finished a $16.1 million expansion doubling their exhibit space.

Boasting the oldest theme park in a downtown, Elitch Gardens offers a full day of family fun. There are 53 rides, water rides, and live events. They open the season in May and wrap up the season with their Fright Fest in October.

Coors Brewery Tour
Just outside of Denver is Golden, CO, once, home to Coors Brewing Company. The company name may have changed, but they still use the fresh mountain water to brew Coors beer. They still provide a free guided tour of the brewery, with limited sampling at the conclusion of the tour.
